My service manual is not handy at the moment and I am not sure if it would tell me this or not. I want to switch over to a Pertronix ignition but I do not know what distributor I have. As the title says, it is a 1987 OMC 4.3L. Looking up the different Pertronix ignitions, they have one listed for a Delco, a Mallory and a Prestolite distributor. Is there a simple way to tell what i have ?
