OMC 3.0L with a 2 barrel Holley Carb. Electric fuel pump was installed when mechanical pump broke. Initial start no problem. After running for a few minutes, shut engine for a few minutes, sometimes hard to restart or once restarted and moving it will start to miss and stall. I found that if I take a jumper and use it to activate the pump, to fill the fuel bowl it will work. Where is the fuel in the fuel bowl going? I replaced the anti-siphone valve, fuel line, and rebuilt the carb. If you don't stop the boat you will be fine.

No I''m not getting fuel in the oil, but I did when I had a mechanical fuel pump. The diaphram ruptured and it was leaking fuel in the oil pan.
