Hi guys - busy pressing in gears and bearings today.. noticed bearing carrier was a little loose when race was installed (this is the horizontal yoke shaft).. any tips on repairs? I know the bearing preload isnt all that much.. will a knurl and loctite work, only loctite?

tx

Im referring to the loctite sleeve retainer which seem sis made specifically for this..

another option is the loctite liquid steel (aluminum filler option)

depends on amount of damage. if a fair amount of slop, machine the housing press in sleeve, machine sleeve to proper bore

its not super loose.. just not firm - i think i shd not knurl but just loctite 620/permatex sleeve repair it- knurling is better on steel but aluminum i think will just invite issues down the road possibly..
