2.3l oil pump

1988 2.3l 232AMRGDE engine..
Been looking for an oil pump Parts list has a 986383 but for a GDP with 4 piece pan gasket Mine is GDE with 1 piece gasket
Found a Ford Marine D42E-6604-AJ which i think is my best bet but i think its the 986383 as well
Also wondering if theres a difference between the marine and auto part (the 1985 Ranger 2.3 looks like it)
What would a rebuilder use in my case?

its a ford ranger/pinto motor. long block is pure ford. get the ford oil pump.

get a new oil pickup tube as well.

I bought a New Old Stock OMC Oil pump for nearly 100 bx... When I found it i figured it was the last brand new OMC 2.3 oil pump on the planet.. Better safe than sorry I thought and everyone usually says never use automotive parts... Nevertheless whether it was Genuine Ford or OMC would be about the same price i suppose, dont wanna skimp on the oil pump so i figure i did ok...
Was gonna reuse the pickup, I'll take your advise and replace it as well...
