Sunbird Neutral Safety Switch question

Boat has been running great! Then last night took it out for a cruise and on the way to the dock, throttled down and the motor cut out. Docked the boat and tried to start it. Engine cranked and didn't start. Moved the throttle to give a little gas, turned the key again, this time, nothing at all happened.
Went out there this morning, wiggled the throttle, and it started it just fine.
I'm thinking it's a wire related to the neutral safety switch. I looked in thr OMC manual and I find mention of the switch but nothing about which wires go to it. I did find that the switch is located in the remote control box.
In the manual i can't find any mention of the location of the box.
We are going to check the throttle area for loose wires, but was wondering if anyone had some input on this kind of issue other than to look for a rubbed or loose wire.
Thanks

Ayuh,.... It's the thingy with the throttle/ shifter lever is,....

It's usually a yellow/ red wire, that goes from the key switch, to the slave solenoid, which powers the starter's solenoid,....

If you have an original OMC control, the one place I have found diagrams of the controls is on the Crowley marine website, in OMC parts under accessories....
