I was on the lake yesterday with my 1989 reinell 181 and noticed water pouring out of starter mount and at different points around the points where the engine and drive marry. I think it is a seal in the drive. The exhaust bellow seem tight.

It is a two barrel V-6 with OMC out drive.

Looking for opinions on what maybe wrong

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Go ahead, 'n pull the drive off, 'n inspect the bellows for a hole,....

Another possibility is a blown core plug, ahead of the flywheel,....
How was the motor winterized,..?? By whom,..??

Ahhh....this does not sound good ..... Was this boat winterized? Sounds like pushed out core plugs from a frozen engine.
Or as Bondo said could be a drive shaft bellows but they don't let in that much water when they leak. Other possibility is a leaky power steering cooler which is right over the rear of the engine behind the starboard side exhaust manifold....these also have to be drained and if not and the water freezes inside they will split and leak.
