Put oil in pivot housing....

So in a rush to replace the vertical drive oil I instead tried to put it in the hole which are supposed to drain the water from when winterizing. Step Draining Pivot Housing in the OMC owners manual has you remove 3 water drain plugs. I put it in the top one for picture 37. Any ideas on how much I screwed things up or just let it drain and everything will be fine?

Not sure what your working on and don't see a picture anywhere. But I'm guessing it's a Cobra. If so, just let it drain out and you will be fine.

What vintage OMC drive ya' got?

Thanks Muc. Yes it's an OMC motor and stern drive. The boat service department said the same thing.
