How to adjust idle on a 460 King Cobra

Newbie here can't figure out how to start a new thread. So I'm looking for info on how to adjust my idle on a 460 KC (King cobra) it is a bit high after warm about 1100 rpm. Do I make adjustment on carb or on throttle linkage. Thanks in advance, newbie.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Probably Both,.....

There'll be an Idle Screw on yer carb, try turnin' it out to lower the idle,....
If that don't work, on the carb end of the cable, lengthen, or shorten it to slightly Push against the carb's linkage, which will put pressure on the idle screw, so's the idle will come down,....
