OMC Cobra 3.0 outdrive lower unit removal

I have an OMC cobra outdrive that seems to have an issue getting water to the impeller. I really need some guidance getting the lower unit off as I have no idea where to begin. Im new to the world of boats, this is my first one and i really dont wanna make any mistakes.

Assuming you have a regular Cobra and not an SX Cobra, your impeller is located under a cover on the rear of the drive. Take of 3 screws and you will see the water pump housing.

You should get a manual. Send me a PM and I will send you one for a regular Cobra.

Have a model number and approximate year?
