Just a quick follow-up for anyone else that encounters this same problem. I had the cone that came off re-soldered to the cooler at a welding shop. Silver solder, grand total of $20.00. I re-primed where paint was removed to prevent future oxidation. Re-installed in about 15 minutes. topped off P/S fluid, turned lock to lock several times to force our air. Started her up, verified the repair was holding, and went for an afternoon cruise, trouble free.
