mercury super huricane mark 28

I am look at this mercury mark 28 its seems to run good but i dont know anything about boat motors. He is asking 100$ for it is it worth it

is it a mark 28 or mark 28a

Nice motor.---But be aware that few shops will work on that model.---Even changing the water pump can be a challenge.----You will have to learn to do the maintenance yourself !!
