How many miles/kilometers would you say is one meterd worked hour equivalent to if comparing an outboard use to a car ?

Most cases use 30 to 40 miles to the hour for vehicles.
Boats I would use 100 miles to the hour do to the work load. After 2000 hours for a gas engine it's toast just about no matter how maintenance was done (200K miles).

Very difficult to compare. A car has a 4 stroke engine which does not work anywhere near as hard, or operate at sustained high load/high revs... The outboard (I assume is a 2 stroke), which is designed to run hard and fast.... It would be like asking how many apples you need to eat to feel full of oranges...

The question could also be phrased as "How does the fuel consumption of a car and a boat compare?" The answer has the same relevance.

In response to another similar post in which the question was centered on 2000 hour boat engine vs 200,000 mile car engine, I ran some numbers based strictly on engine rpm and the outcome was very close to the same for both vehicles. Distance covered is obviously very different since a boat engine revs much higher than a car most of its useful life and travels at a much slower average speed. Since the boat engine does not have the advantage of a multi-speed transmission, it is under load much more of the time than a car.

Thanks,

So expect a near shot 2 stroke engine after 2 K metered worked hours....

Do the checks on it.. Compression, check the bearings (with a screwdriver through the plug holes) and a 'plug cut' test (removing each spark plug lead with the engine running and making sure the revs drop similarly)... A few other tests and make your decision based on observations, not 'hearsay' and an hour meter.
