1994 Nitro 2000dc with 225 Opti

Has anyone installed or know anyone that has installed a 225 Opti on the back of a 1994 Nitro 2000dc or comparable boat? I was just wondering how it handle.. Thank you

A 225 on the back of 20f bass boat should do over 60mph.
Just make sure you don't make any sudden turns.
Look out for other boats wakes.

I have a 175 efi merc on there now and the boat will run 63 with two guys, full of fuel and loaded with gear. It's my hole shot that sucks and I have tried every prop know to mankind! It's just a beast of a boat weight wise

Near as I can figure the weight with a 175 is about 2100 lbs.,doesn't seem that heavy for a 20 footer.
Thats new boat weight couldn't find the 94 Nitro.

Pretty much "normal" for those years till design change came in later years.....What's max rpm its turning?
