lower unit leaking water around bolt and seam...

Hi, I hooked the hose up to my motor, (1975 85hp johnny), and noticed water coming out of one of the bolts that hold it to the leg and also from the seam where it joins the leg. The motor was not running. I replaced the water pump and impeller and believe I did everything right. Is it normal for water to come out of these places?<br />Thanks,<br />Rich

yes its normal at the seam, dont sweat the bolt.

hey man just found your thread I have the same prob but there is exaust comeing out of there on mine as well
