12' grumman, 15 HP evinrude

Is this a good set up or is the engine too big? the Evinrude is a 1955 model. The boat is somewhat newer.

What does the transom's tech plate say about max engine allowed for that size boat ?

I would guess that boat is rated at 10HP. If so, you would be 50% overpowered.
