Nissan 5 hp Gas/ oil mix? Water Pump?

Hi I just picked this motor up today and Wanted to know is it a Fuel oil mix?<br /> I can't find anywheres where water would go in lower unit for a water pump is this whole motor air cooled?<br />And what type of engine is it? I need to rebuild the carb.<br />steve

I would have to guess two stroke. There are no marking that I see I will have to pull the cover and check it out.<br />steve

Two stroke. Fuel/oil 50:1

even if your not sure wether its a 2 or four strooke just throw in some 50/1 mix and fire it up then youll know

Read this and learn some basics that will apply on pretty much all small twostrokes. Before you do anything on your engine, be sure this owners manual do apply for your model too.
