E tech Question

What's the opening temperature of the thermostat on the 115 e tech Evinrude? I was watching a new episode of Swamp People tonight and they were running their new one. The boat's occupants were in short sleeves, they were running at or estimated close to WOT (boat was making a lot of white foam) and out the exhaust relief ports was water and above the water quite a bit of steam.

mark .i believe what your seeing is quite common.earlier in the day my etec looks like its steaming or smoking because the early moring air is slightly cooler and the exhaust is warmer.as the day progresses my motor has no tell tale of exhaust or smoke atall.nothing .you would swear it was a 4 stroke.
