Hi All... I just got a very clean, hardly used 75HP Merc and I want to make sure the gas stays clean and doesn't clog the carbs. I had the tank taken out of my boat, cut open, cleaned like brand new, all new fuel lines and I'd like to keep it that way and not have a bunch of carburetor issues. Star Bright was recommended to me as the best gas treatment. I have no idea and no one around me who knows. I could sure use some wisdom here. For the most part I will be using non-ethenol gas, but every once in a while if the one station in town that carries pure gas is closed I'll need to put some E-10 in the tank....

You're thoughts are much appreciated..

Just put in a good fuel filter/water seperater. If you intend to let the gas sit for more then 3 months or so use a fuel conditioner.

I'll have Sta-bil, Sea foam, Startron and a couple of other in my fuel.
