85 HP. Javelin (Johnson)

I am going to go Saturday to look at a boat with an 85HP. V-4 Javelin (Johnson). Were these any sort of special motor? In brief what was the Javelin story? Knowledge is powerful when buying something, and I have googled, and searched this to not find much. Any info would be great. Thanks!!

It is pure marketing, the motor is just a badged up Johnson Crossflow, but they are reliable motors if properly maintained

Yep. Great motor but the "Javalin" is just a sticker
