Hi, how can I tell if my aux motor could be set to charge my cranking battery?
I have two separate switches to isolate or combine my cranking and deep-cycle battery.
I just want to be able to isolate and trickle charge the cranking battery to keep it topped up while using the deep-cycle to power the accessories while trolling.
The main motor currently charges the cranking battery, but I typically have very short (10 minute) runs before starting to troll
This motor came with the boat I purchased and I don't yet have an owners manual.
