Rotary steering cable replacement

I have a 16' 91 Aluma Weld boat that I recently replaced the motor with a 60hp ETEC. I changed the floor plan up some and moved the console back 2". My steering cable is now 2' to long and I need a shorter replacement rotary cable. There is no brand on the cable or rotary steering gear and I was wondering where to get a shorter cable. I used Teleflex instructions on cable measurement and got 9' for the cable I need. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached some pics, when I took the rotary system apart I found
