www.martinoutboards.com for info. Yours appears to ba a 1947, and the recommended oil mixture is 3/4 pint to one gallon of gas (that's a LOT of oil!). Despite advances in oil technology, the old outboards still require a rich oil mixture.
As for value- that's almost impossible to say. Typically, a running Martin will bring 100-200 on ebay. Beaters are almost worthless; a flawless museum piece could bring 500 or more. It generally costs more in parts to get an old outboard running than what you could sell it for; for the rest of us, it's a hobby.
