I have a 2hp Mariner and the repair manual says mix the oil at 50-1. This engine is Yamaha built and re badged as a Mariner. Yamaha says to use an 100-1 oil mix. My mind says stick with 50-1 but its a bit smoky. Any thoughts on this. If you look at the engine with the covers off you see Yamaha marking all over it and it is a Yamaha other than the covers. Looking for input.
