Hello all. I'm new here. I have a 2006 15 hp Mercury 4-stroke outboard (tiller)w/elec. start and I am looking for a remote control, either electric, or mechanical. So I can operate the motor from the driver's seat of my boat. A little background: bought a '65 UT Classic 17' boat that had a bad 115 hp Merc. 2-stroke. Went to dealer and found out the transom was weak, so no fixing the 115 hp. Bought the 15 hp from him, but have to control throttle using the tiller. Kind of a Pain in the a*#. So I'm looking for a better way to control throttle from the driver's seat. We just use the boat for fishing, but some times when the waves kick up from the wind, it's kind of a handicap. Any ideas, or manufacturer's out there?? Any suggestion's are appreciated. Thanks.
