My 1989 generic manual doesn't list a 3 cylinder 25.only 2 cylinder prior to 88 and and a 2 cylinder 88 and after.<br /> Unfortunately the only reference to a 30 3 cylinder covers 30,40 and 50 hp 3 cylinders.No model numbers and no dates.It appears the 2 cylinder 25 was available at least to 89.And I have a reference to 30 hp 2 cylinder "prior to 87".I know not much help but I'm sure someone will be along with more timely info.
They were sold in Canada up until this year. Its pretty sad as it was one of Yamahas finest small motors. A little heavy and thirsty for its rating, but ran like stink, was very smooth and dead reliable.
