hey guys whats up? i am a long time boat user and owner, and let me just say, for outboards, i am 4 stroke illiterate. i recently rented a 15 hp honda outboard, i think its yea was about a 2000. im beginning to love the engine, so i was interested in buying. i popped the hood off and i wanted to take a look see, i saw something ive never seen before, it was a belt running from flywheel to right above the powerhead. im guessing this is the belt for the oil pump, but im not sure. if anybody knows what this is could you please help me out, im trying to become a little more familliar with the honda 4 stroke before i buy one
