I have what i believe to be a 1976 Mercury 7.5. I havent used/started it in years. Im about to start using it again but i need to locate the serial number. there is no plate between the mounting bracket, and i do not find one stamped on the block. im also older and half blind (not really) and cant find the number anywhere. does anyone have an illustration/photo of where i would find a serial number so i can register this motor with tpwd. when i first ran this motor long ago it didnt require registration, well now it does and i'd rather just find the serial number then go through a gamewarden inspection. i have looked and found a topic similar but i did not find the number where described.. thank you in advanced..
