Those lasts for centuries, does OB runs even throughout the whole throttle range ? for my peace of mind regarding old plug wires that still have outer mint cover in flexible cond is cut cable plug side say 5 mm off if sufficient long, so to have fresh shinny wire portion, that's if counting with screw type plug caps which must be also in shinny clean state.

The other side that connects to ignition coil, power pack must be in shinny state too. If having metal caps at both sides of plug wires, clean them to a shinny state for tip top electrical contact with plugs and avoid costly wire changes.

Do your motors use Packard 440 wire core? 5 years ago I picked up 10' of bulk 440 at Advance Auto for about a buck a foot.
