nightstalker....post this on the Johnson/Evinrude site to get the best info. I believe that motor is pretty reliable, provided it was maintained it should be good to you. Good Luck.
Just buy a new upgraded VRO pump, rebuild the carbs, replace the batteries, and make sure the battery connections are tight. Then hope the electronics don't melt, and you are good to go.
