This is the 26 intek series....not as tuff as the vanguard series....but reliable.
Thanx for the coupling link,im happy with the design i have....sofar shes holding up fine.
My steel motor mount only weights 10lbs.....not that big of a deal....although aluminium woulda been less maintence over the years.

Participated in the blessing of the fleet today,10 miles on her today, went around the lake and back.had to tow a jetski, then towed a 24ft aluminium boat about 1 mile.
Beautiful day with 15-20 mph winds.ol girl done well.

This is really cool!

If that's your son, you're teaching him valuable things that he'll talk about for years to come!!:encouragement:

New foam too (I hope.........) Otherwise a good wave or a good leak will send it directly to the bottom!!

You might also add a BIG bilge pump!!

No new foam in da floor.
Rear deck has 2 foam blocks per side,3/4 of front deck is still foam filled.
Shes still sea worthy.
I also have a 1100 gph pump going in there.

Very neat igotit. You talked about wanting a little more speed, well looking at a side profile, it looks like you could raise the engine a little and reduce drag. The anti-cavatation plate seem a little low compared to the bottom of the hull :noidea: JMHO

After being in the water for 8 mrhs, its time to pressure wash and anti foul the bottom.
My dad been using her every week during shrimp season to fill the freezer.because of the growth on the hull she went from 19-20 mph to 13 mph.
The algee on the bottom is around 1/4 in thick.....its like gluing a 5x15 strip of fuzy carpet to the bottom of your boat....lol.
