marine HWS to 5.7 mercruiser what size threads are 'bungs' thermostat housing?

HWS is a Glind ( local brand, can't add link atm ) marine heat exchanger that runs a line to the blocked off bungs on the thermostat housing, just asking what size and thread type they are so can get the right fittings today,

No engine serial number so I went with 1997 and newer. So if your housing looks like the one below they are 3/8 NPT

didn't get them that day lol,
couldn't find them in the big city workshops l went to
will probably find it in the old run down, dusty/ rusty/leaky waterfront joint 5 mins away...from the bloke who spends his day fixing boats lol
