Cracked/Torn Exhaust Bellows

Will water backup into my engine exhaust if I put my boat in the water? Stern drive is a Alpha R, #6664498. I will replace all the bellows when I make the repairs. When repairing is it best to buy the kit or each of the bellows separately?

It will not cause an issue with water in the engine. They are normally full of water when the boat is sitting in the water anyway. Good idea on replacing all the bellows since they are probably all the same age.

Go to Don'S Adults Only section at the top of the forum, click on Mercruiser info, then the factory Manuals,.....

Follow the manual, Exactly, 'n you'll have no problem doin' the job,....
