You will probably run the engine enough during your final review session. Have him drain engine block and manifolds and it should be good until spring commissioning. Be sure your camera/phone is charged up, we need PICS please :)

There is a Manta Ray in the storage yard I use, interesting look. That one is open to the elements and I wince every time I see it. It will be good to see one that is in shape and seaworthy.

I will take some pics and share on this post... Can I get some suggestions on what to do during the engine test before I leave with the boat

Without taking it out on the water it will be hard to fully test the engine and drive. The cooling is artificial on the hose pressure and when shifting it is not under load. On the hose you are not supposed to run it over about 1500 RPM so you can't hear it run at high RPMs. Make sure the drive has been pressure tested.
