I'm looking at a 16' 1972 Tahiti hull with a Volvo outdrive still in it. The tag reads PZ 2752082 D. Anyone know what it is and if the numbers have any meaning? It appears to be a 4 cylinder bellhousing, and the top two bolts are parallel with the ground.. What would it be rated for horsepower wise? Can the bellhousing be changed if it has a high enough horsepower rating for an upgrade? Thanks for any help!

Ayuh,.... If it came with a 4 cylinder, you'll need to use a 4 cylinder again,......

Goin' to a 6 cylinder, or V8 will Require a gear ratio change to work,....

Could be an old 270 or even the earlier 250...like bondo said, you'll need to stick with the four cylinder motor if thats what it came with. an AQ130 could be used. rated around 115 hp. If you're looking for bigger power, an entire drivetrain swap would be the best way to go.
