I will be trailering my boat for to get shrink wrapped so the drive will be full up. I am storing the boat at home and would like to have the drive down. Am I good to just remove the ram arms from the drive to lower it and what if anything do I need to do to protect the attach points on the drive, and the ram end attach points.
Thanx...Dan

Nothing. There in water all summer so whatever precipitation you get is not going to do anything to them

Thanx....is it OK to let the arms dangle or should they be tied up?

You could just remove the drive for the winter. That is how I left mine. For the trim rams I used a bungee cord attached to the ski rope hook to hold them up at about the same level they would normally be.

Most important is that the bellows are not stretched out when stored
