I have just completed winterizing my 89 Sea Ray with Mercruiser 3.0. I am planning to replace the bellows and hose and trim limit switch etc.
I have all the parts now. I was wondering if it is better to change all this stuff now, it's all apart, or, in the spring so it's not sitting all winter long?
I have also drained the oil from the motor and the drive, and wasn't sure if I should put new oil in now or in the spring.
It gets below zero several times over the winter and didn't want to expose the new "stuff" to these elements. If it makes no difference, I'll do it now and have that much less to do in the spring.
Thanks for all your help!!!!
