I noticed recently that my 1000gph Johnson Ultima bilge pump with the integrated digital float switch wasn't working. Water has never got that high in my bilge for the pump to actually turn itself on, however on my latest inspection I noticed it did not cycle on using the finger test. Anyways I contacted SPX and told them the situation about the float switch not working correctly, and they sent me a brand new pump. It had been in the boat 2 years and they didn't ask any questions. By far one of the best companies I have had to deal with regarding a failed product. I highly recommend to any fellow boaters to go with SPX bilge pumps when its time to replace your bilge pump.
