Hi there, If you have your engine serial number, we may be able to find a manual part number for your engine model.

Here are the only numbers I could find on the block. 039d1 6001 1 884-858257 Not sure if either are the serial number or not. Thanks

It's not really an I/O. Really should be in the Mercury outboard section

884-858257. Story theyall ran together in first post.
Those aren't going to be the serial numbers you need, they are just Mercury part numbers for the block. In searching, I may have found some helpful info quoted below.

Are you spankzilla on seadoo forum? http://www.seadooforum.com/showthre...lp-please&s=65cfc8ed9b09d3b75115b38cf163b07a& p=418525#post418525 ......... His service manual part number is 90-877837

I believe those are Mercury part #'s stamped in to the casting.

The serial # can appear 2 places on the block. 1) On where the crankcase halves join by the throttle linkage. 2) Could have a silver tag into the top of the block somewhere between the heads.

Of course these may not exist if the Powerhead was replaced

It's not really an I/O. Really should be in the Mercury outboard section
Thanks 79Merc80, Normally I would have move it there by now but due to forum software malfunctions, I was trying to hold off on that then to prevent the possibility of losing the topic altogether.
