I have a 77 islander i'm rebuilding. Motor is the mercruiser 120 inline 4. The boat came stock with the oil light in the dash, no gauge. I want to install an oil pressure gauge. What sender will I need for the motor end? I have new Teleflex gauges. Also, will I have to run new wires and cap off the wires from the light, or could they be used with the gauge?

Ayuh,.... Yer gonna need a sender that shows the values the gauge wants to see,....

'n Sure, you could use the same wire the light uses, after ya swap in a sender, insteada the switch that's there...

Re: Oil pressure gauge Question

Just call Teleflex. That's the easiest way to get your answer. That is what I did.
