I ended up building a more practical version with Home Depot supplied 3/8 sqaure x 36 stock and a 1/2 x 12 In. pipe nipple at a cost of $13.00 / I hade some scraps of 1/8 & 3/16 steel on hand along with the remaing parts.

The pipe handles make it much easier on the hands. The prints were updated accordingly.


This is a good project for anyone with a flux core or mig welder.
