1996 Campion with cobra i/o...info??? omc or volvo?

Hi all,
I'm looking at this 1996 Campion alliance 170. It has the OMC engine and outdrive. After researching on here it sounds like this might be the volvo model?
I don't have any model numbers, but here are the pics from the ad. Can anyone give me some info on this? Can you tell from the pics what engine is?...it looks to me like the volvo sx outdrive?

I bet that boat is not a '96 because the drive is definitely a dog clutch OMC Cobra, not a Volvo SX. The change over was for the '94 model year, before that it was still the all OMC dog clutch unit. Take a good look at the hull ID number on the starboard side of the transom....I bet its a '94 boat, with a '93 drive train. If you can find an OMC model #, that will help identify the year of the power package. Could be on a grey sticker on the engine, valve cover, etc. It will say" OMC Drive Systems, Waukegan, Ill and the number will start with a 30 (for 3.0 liter)....
