Bought the boat a month ago and am learning every time I get on this forum and read something.
Today I ran across a discussion about exhaust bellos vs. exhaust boot, or something like that. I noticed that my boat doesn't have anything attached.

Questions: Did it come with any kind of bellos or boot? If so, which one? It's a pleasure boat and my wife doesn't like the extra noise, can I put something on if the boat didn't come with a boot?

Also, my boat has Captain Call exhaust out of both sides that I can use when she isn't in the boat, so I would like to make it quieter if I can.

Thanks
Jody

With your new to you boat, you should have done all the maintenance.

However with your boat having captains call, you should still have a y-pipe and bellows unless the y'pipe was removed and you have side exits with mufflers and transom exits without

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... It probably had the bellows originally,....

If it rotted, 'n fell off,... I'm guessin' the rest of the bellows also need to be replaced,.....

The boot, 'n the bellows are direct interchangeable pieces,.... use whichever 1 ya want,.....
