Mecruiser outdrive identification

I just want to be sure i have the right stuff to fix my broken exhaust and damaged cv bellows. Its attached to a mercruiser 140 in a 1980 renken. Just bought it and new to boating. Any info on HOW to identify would be useful also. Im like 95% aure its an Alpha but dont know what gen. Probably 1 im guessing?

It could be something from before the alpha 1. I see there is a serial tag on the transom. Is there one on the drive?
