Just picked-up my "new" outdrive.
Put my thrust washer on and it seems to be rubbing against the zinc on the prop shaft.
The expert said it's OK.

Ayuh,.... The prop thrust hub should touch the prop shaft, 'n the prop,.... Nothin' else,....

I'm guessin' it's the wrong anode, or wrong thrust washer,.....

Does P/N: 77987 sound right for the thrust washer?

Looks like Sierra has a replacement # 18-4220.

that would the the standard for all the merc drives using merc propellers. Some of the older michigan ones used a much thicker thrust hub
