I have twin Merc 4.3LX that both prop turn clockwise.
I was told that I should have one prop turning CW (port) & one prop CCW (starbord side)
Does it really make a big difference ( 2 props turning CW) when time to dock stern in ?
Next season I will have to dock beetween 2 fingers and stern in. My neibourg will be pretty close.
Thanks

While it is best to have them rotate in opposite directions to reduce crabbing (moving side ways), you shouldn't have an issue. A single screw boat carbs a lot more then twins. Wind will be the thing that will cause you more problems then the props.

I agree with alldodge, shouldn't be a problem. Once you get the knack of slow steering with the throttles rather than the wheel it will become a piece of cake.
