I have a 1999 Four Winns Vista 258 with a Volvo Penta 5.7gsi. I do not have an hour meter on the dash. Is there anyway to get an hour reading on the engine? Possibly through an OBD scan? Thanks for the help.

you can get key on hours from the OBD scan.

many years ago, companies like Four Winns and Bayliner quit putting hourmeters in their boats because many of their customers were upset because warranty was based on time vs usage hours since most people only seem to put about 20-25 hours per year on their boats.

Find someone who has a Rinda scanner. 1999 should have a MEFI-3 that will be storing hours.
