Questions about new motor

I'm replacing a 5.0gi volvo penta carbureted I/O. I'm considering a 5.7 fuel injected because I found a 5.7 motor out of a suburban. Any issues other than changing the cam, intake and other bolt ones?? Not sure if I can use the truck motor and don't know if its a direct swap or are mods needed.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... You can use the Long Block from the suburban, but not the ignition, nor the induction,....

The core plugs need to be changed to brass,....
