I am having a power issue, will not produce any power on upper end. Have tried new prop, Fuel lines and filters. Can only get 3000 RPM out of engine, should be around 5000 RPM, any ideas thanks
Answer these questions---How long have you owned it ?----------Is this something that started suddenly ?---------------Test compession on it.----------Check for strong spark on all leads.-------Spark MUST jump a gap of 3/8" or more.-----------And you MUST make sure carburetors are clean.------Running with one plugged carburetor can do damage to the motor.------Check diaphragm in fuel pump.
???----Sounds like you have checked everything and every thing is good.----Then motor should run like new or nearly so.-----Perhaps all that information should have been put into post # 1 ---But you chose not to.
