1982 mercury 25hp is leaking fuel from the bottom of the plastic bowl.

I have a 1982 mercury, electric start. It has a carb with a plastic bowl. It leaks fuel from a small rectangle deal on the very bottom of the bowl. The engine isles great all while leaking. It will not run right in WOT. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Probably cracked bowl or dried, hardened, cracked gasket issues, fuel leaks could be very dangerous specially when engine is working, kaboom issues.
