l Hello to every
2007 mercury outboard 115 hp efi
motor purrs like a kitten uup to 3500 rpm ....then starts missing like a cylinder not firing .....replaced all filters gas& water separator ...cleaned screen on bottom of fuel pump ..replaced plugs ....finally ordered a scan tool from Rinda tech .....went thru the r diagnostic got one code 110 shift switch ....
Still trying to find out if that is a throttle positioning sensor .....
Still trying to figure in my mind how this can make a mis fire

Not familiar with the workings of marine efi but shift switch sounds like something inside the shifter to tell the ecu you are in gear. Otherwise, it may think you are in neutral and setting a low rev limiter point.
